The Yogic Diet

The True Yogic Diet is a Plant-Based, Cruelty Free Vegan Diet

The focus of the Yogic Diet is primarily on nutrient dense whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and legumes.

How a Whole Food Plant-Based Vegan Diet Relates to Yoga

All of yoga is based on Ahimsa (non-violence).

This is also included in our diets. This leads to a peaceful, exponentially expanded, life-enhancing energy which is in alignment with a complete yogic practice.

How a Whole Food Plant-Based Diet Benefits the Body

Plant-based diets are the only diets that has been scientifically proven to help prevent disease as well as lessen and even reverse the top leading causes of death such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and colon
cancer.

A plant-based diet is also proven to be more effective when combined with exercise and mentality for stress reduction for optimal health.

With a whole food, plant-based vegan diet, you will receive more fiber
which moves toxins out of your body and nourishes your gut health. You will receive more vitamins and minerals, anti- oxidants, and fewer petrochemicals.

You will have a greater variety of diet with so many colorful and nutrient-dense fruits and veggies, have better digestion, and feel lighter and more energetic.

You can eat until you are satisfied and go to a normal healthy weight without having to go on starvation or yo-yo diets.

A diet higher in plants and lower in animal-based foods is associated with less of an impact on the environment than the typical American diet of artery clogging meat, not to mention the added hormones in dairy and mercury in fish.

Vegan Diets Are Beatle Approved

Moral Benefits of a Whole Food, Plant-Based Diet

Currently, approximately 42,000 people per day die from starvation.  If just 10% of the population went on a vegan diet there would be 12 times more food—more than enough to feed the whole world!

Factory farming is the biggest polluter on the planet as well as the biggest abuse and violence to animals. Animals have feelings emotions, love, and affection.  The horrors of abuse to the animals is  unspeakable.

Factory Farming also pollutes our air, land, and water, and it fills our food with antibiotics. The consumption of animal products is the leading cause of disease to your body.

The violence and abuse towards the animals and to your body is a vibration of energy that is the opposite of a Yogic Sattvic Diet which is pure, cruelty free, and illuminating.

Additional Information

It is worth noting that “plant-based” does not automatically mean ‘”healthy,” particularly when it comes to processed and packaged foods.

Technically, products such as refined sugar, white flour, and certain vegetable fats can all be labeled plant-based as they are vegan, but this does not mean that they should make up the bulk of a healthy diet.

Hence we promote a Whole Food Plant-Based Diet.
