Join us in its vast and profound purpose in one or more of these classes this week at LCY:
Yoga 101-The focus is on the inner and outer alignment of the arms to engage the shoulders and shoulder blades for protection and power through the upper torso and clearing tension in the upper back and neck.
Ongoing Yoga and Ongoing Beginning Yoga – The focus is on Yoga Sutra 3.2 on the 7th Limb of Yoga, Dhyana, Meditation combined with a continuation of hip and hamstring openers for Padmasana (Lotus) and Hanumanasana (Split). This is a deep insightful practice that will help your hips open for better balance and more energy. You’ll unwind deep seated tensions in the muscles that surround your hip joint with reclined postures, low lunges, standing postures and seated postures. These will soothe your lower body by releasing accumulated tension that can hinder your knees and lower back.
Friday Night Meditation Class- A potent class of guided meditation that includes Yogic components such as a theme focus (intention), japa-(mantra for manifestation), a short, gentle asana practice, and pranayama leading into meditation bliss followed by a sweet treat on the way out.
All Levels Saturday Yin Yoga- Unwind tension in your mid back and improve the suppleness of your spine to enhance mobility with longer held classic Yin yoga postures.
All Levels Sunday Morning Slow and Glow Yoga-Reboot yourself for the week ahead in this morning practice.
