This Week’s Classes at LCY

We hope you had a most wonderful Labor Day Weekend~

Sri Ekan has been busy planting  the Lake Center Yoga garden with over 500 fresh starts of plants to enjoy in our home kitchen and in recipes for our yoga retreats!

We look forward to seeing you back on your mats this week in one or more of our our well rounded classes at LCY which always include all Eight Branches of Yoga.  Here’s what’s happening:

The Yoga 101 Class focus is on balance of stability and freedom, effort and ease both in asana practice and daily life.

The Ongoing Beginner and Ongoing Yoga Classes offer a smooth yet powerful practice that unites Yoga Sutra 2.54-mastering the mind and senses, along with lunging sequences, variations of arm balances, backbends, hip openers, standing and one legged balance poses to help you reawaken your clarity and inner guidance to have a fresh perspective heading into the Fall season.

Friday Night Meditation Class is open to all levels and is the perfect class for mastering the mind via the yogic techniques of mantra to quiet the mind, pranayama to open the inner energy, and pratyahara to cultivate focus and peace.

Yin Yoga is open to all levels. This is a practice to find peace by surrender. Yin Yoga utilizes long-held postures, breath and patience to release and transform the connective tissue of the body.

The Slow and Glow Class is open to all levels for your Sunday morning sacred time ending the asana practice with a short meditation.

Have a great week and come shine on in one or more of these great classes!
