The Yoga 101 Class this week focuses on the Inner and Outer Spiral of the legs to protect the low back, the hips and knees. The lower body roots and the spine rises for more efficient performance of the entire nervous system. On a subtle level this creates an open channel for energy to pass through the seven Chakras or energy centers from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.
