Interconnecting Patterns for a Better Life

Welcome To Week 3 Of Our Current 6 Week Session this coming week at LCY.

We hope you can join us in these great classes to bring more balance and joy to your body, mind and spirit!

Yoga 1, Yoga 1-2 and Yoga 2 Classes
This week come and discover the interconnected patterns of movement, breath and form that, when ignited, give you a deep connection to your core strength, revealing the path to your maximum flexibility and sense of balance. We will work with traditional yoga postures and variations that focus on muscular and energetic connections side to side and head to toe as you explore your inner landscape via Yoga Sutra 4.20. You will leave feeling open, integrated and grounded after this practice. Props needed: 2 blocks

Full Moon Meditation with Lisa Tonight

The Full Moon Energy is the perfect time to welcome our beautiful Lisa Starr as the new Meditation Guide on Friday Nights!

The Meditation “Class” is a wonderful opportunity for you to truly enter into the Divine Energy that you are made of. There are thousands of meditation techniques in the ancient Yogic texts and beyond that take us to the most blissful place beyond the outer world.

We love to offer all Eight Limbs of Yoga at LCY rather than just a physical workout with yoga poses which is actually NOT Yoga but a preparation of the body for full yoga.

During the Meditation session on Friday Nights we have the opportunity to take an entire hour to experience different practices of the higher Limbs of Yoga (Limbs 4-8) on the more subtle realm which is truly the Union of body, mind and Spirit.

Welcome to Week #1 of our NEW Six Week Session!

Here’s what’s happening this week in classes at Lake Center Yoga~

Yoga 1, 1-2 and 2 with Sri Ekan, Nirgunavathi and Lisa
Join is in these classes to maximize the length of your spine as you awaken your center and vitalize your attention via proper alignment and Yoga Sutra 4.18. We’ll progress through a sequence that connects standing postures with balancing twists. We’ll continue to emphasize spinal elongation as we move on to deepening backbends. Closing poses will focus on releasing the shoulders and lower back and hips to prepare us to dive into a deep re-energizing relaxation. The effect of this practice will leave you anchored in clarity and spaciousness.

Thread Consciousness Through Your Body

Welcome To Week 6 Of Our Current 6 Week Session!

Here’s what’s happening this week at LCY:

Yoga 1, Yoga 1-2 and Yoga 2 Classes
In these classes you will thread consciousness through your body via a balanced, breath-oriented sequence and Yoga Sutra 4.17. We will move through standing poses like trikonasana, tadasana and virabhadrasana 2 in a new way. We’ll also experience variations of hanumanasana. Come and lift the veil of reactivity as you create consistency and stability both in your practice and your behavior.

You will leave feeling uplifted and centered:-)
